OMD as an innovative design firm. We reinterpret the poetic aspects of Modernism and the relationship between architecture and landscape. Our work is minimalist, but it is nonetheless sumptuous in color and texture. Pure planes, be they walls of stucco, adobe, timber, stone columns or even water, are the compositional elements, all interacting with Nature. Fundamental to the approach is empathy for the place and a direct interaction on site.

The existing potential of the natural landscape is always accommodated. Quintessentially, OMD’s architecture developed a distinctive approach to working within a modernist vocabulary while enhancing the local foliage and local terrain.
