OMD urban design concerns the arrangement, appearance and functionality of towns and cities, and in particular the shaping and uses of urban public space. OMD as a design practice operates at the intersection of all three, architecture, landscape, planning.

OMD deals primarily with the design of public space, and the way public places are experienced and used. Its focus on physical improvement of the public environment, buildings are not designed as sole objects, their context is taken in the account due to their likely impact on the surroundings. 

It involves the design of buildings, groups of buildings, urban spaces and landscape, and establishing the processes that make successful development possible.

Our designs build on the unique character and positive qualities inherited by each place.Our focus is the creation of urban space in three dimensions, with a an understanding that the role architectural forms, details of buildings, and character of streetscapes play in creating and reflecting the values of diverse, economically successful, human-scale, and ecologically respectful community.

As individuals and as a team, we have a common purpose and we apply it passionately to help guide us in defining, with our clients, the objectives for each project we undertake.
